T.I. Talks About Movie Roles That Could Have Been In 2012

Road To The GRAMMYs: T.I.While T.I has been out promoting books, starring in his new VH1 show with his wife, chatting it up, and overall just hustlin, it’s wild to think that it wasn’t all too long ago that he was spending time in prison on gun charges.

We don’t want to dwell on it, because he is doing great things, but he recently admitted in an interview that he could have done even more in 2012. Specifically, he missed out on quite a few movie roles when he was sent back to the penitentiary for an additional 11 months after violating probation.

In an interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine, T.I revealed some of the movie roles he missed out on because of his simple mistake.

“I was supposed to be in the film Tower Heist with Ben Stiller. The Eddie Murphy movie. I was supposed to be in that. And I wasn’t able, obviously, to be there. G.I. Joe II (G.I. Joe: Retaliation), they called me for that. World War Z with Brad Pitt. They called me for that. The Joel Silver movie (Bullet to the Head) – I would have been co-starring with Sylvester Stallone. They called me for that too.”

Total bummer. We love T.I as an actor, and look forward to more projects of his in the future.
