‘Soul Train’ Creator/Host Don Cornelius Commits Suicide

Don Cornelius, one of the most beloved hosts of the classic dance and music show “Soul Train,” was found dead at his home in Sherman Oaks, California. Read more from what the major news sources are saying about his death here.
Police found Don Cornelius body around 4 in the morning in which they found a gunshot wound to the head which looked self inflicting.
Cornelius was 75 years old.
“Soul Train” broadcasted on television screens for around 35 years from 1971 – 2006. Cornelius, with his silky smooth voice, candidly interviewed some of the biggest hip-hop, R&B, pop, dance, and rap stars throughout his career along with having each of them perform on his show.
According to TMZ.com and sources closes to him, Don Cornelius has been “plagued with health issues for years…including a stroke and a condition that required brain surgery.”
